Let's first take a look at what an urban community really is. First of all the word 'urban' refers to being in a city. But community can mean a couple of different things. It can be a group of people living together but it also has a lot to do with people that have common interests.
And that's what urban communities try to focus on. Most of these communities are places close to shopping centers restaurants have things like parks walking trails inside the community itself. These things are used as some of the top selling features of these developing communities to try draw in a crowd of people with similar interests.
Most urban communities will have certain amenities that make them appealing to people with similar interests. For example ponds or lakes biking walking trails etc. are all things that can bring like minded people together. & that's what this type of community is all about.
Another great feature of most urban developments is that they are close to stores restaurants. Many communities are even close enough to permit walking. The goal of these communities is to cut down on the amount of travel that a family would have to do to go shopping eat or get entertainment.
As you can see there are some really good benefits to living in an urban community. Chances are you probably work in the city so you'll be closer to work as well. You'll be surrounded by people with similar interests you'll be close to shopping areas restaurants. All in all urban communities are a great place to live
